Kaş

Kaş is one of the farest district of Antalya with 189 km distance. It is located in the south west of Antalya in the coast. Transportation to Kaş is a bit difficult due to high mountains but it can be fun to travel over the mountains to reach that nice touristic resort place.

Recently tourism investments are increasing in Kaş and especially in the villages of Kalkan and Gelemiş. In this villages you can find quite good touristic facilities. Kaş is very unique because it has clean sea, the colour of sea is amazing.

In Kaş it's possible to find both pebble beach and sandy beach so decision is yours! What to do, where to travel in Kaş? Diving is becoming very popular in Kaş and it's facilities of diving is one of the best in Turkey. Around Kaş there are 6 main caves and the most famous ones are blue cave (mavi mağara) and güvercinlik cave (güvercinlik mağarası). In the centre of Kaş beach is gravelly so you need to go 20 km away from centre of Kaş to reach sandy beaches. Thanks to high mountains and hills in Kaş it's possible to paragliding, if you don't have acrophobia, you should try that amazing sport to see all panorama from up like a bird. Trekking, mountaineering and rafting sports are becoming more common in Kaş day by day. Around Kaş it is possible to find antique cities and waterfalls as well.
